Guiness dosent travel well mike, you put it on a boat its going to fuck up.
The length of the tap from the barrel,is also a big factor. The short the journey from barrell to glass the better the pint.

Depends on mood and circumstances.
Beerlao is great, especially for sundowners on the banks of the Mekong in Vientiane (but can be a bit difficult to find elsewhere)
Philippines San Miguel (Pale Pilsen) not bad.
But when in cooler climes, more a real ale man. Spitfire is a favourite. A good IPA (though there are a wide range of qualities!) Guinness sometimes. Belhaven 80/- good when it can be found.
And in my student days I used to like Newcastle Exhibition Ale, which I think is no longer made :-(

Adnams Broadside is a favourite of mine - brings back memories of Italia 90!! Current fave is Doombar. It's a bit of a trek but I've found an offie in Bromley that I can buy Ale from to take away - they also do a delivery in mini kegs from 9pts upwards and delivered to you, happy to pass on the details if anyone is interested.....And Frankie...no delivery to LV!!!!

An Australian beer called Carlton Draught. It is chilled and derives from a lager and is delicious on tap.
Anyone here tried it?

I love a Super Bock. Sadly the only place that seems to sell here though is Nandos although I usually get a crate from macros at xmas time
